About Artificial Superintelligence (ASI)
Fetch.ai (FET), SingularityNET (AGIX), and Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) announced on March 27, 2024, that they are undergoing a rebranding and merger. The new project, Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, seeks to create the largest open-source, independent, and decentralized player in AI research and development. This move creates an opportunity to counter Big Techâs control over AI and accelerate the path towards developing AGI on the blockchain. The utility tokens of each organization will all merge into a unified token and will be renamed as Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).
By combining the resources of Ocean Protocol, SingularityNET, and Fetch.ai, the alliance is dedicated to building a scalable decentralized AI infrastructure that emphasizes ethical practices. This token merger unites three leading figures in AGI researchâHumayun Sheikh, Dr. Ben Goertzel, and Dr. Trent McConaghyâadvancing the development of AI technologies on the blockchain. Moreover, the partnership enables the commercialization of each company's technology, which means granting widespread access to advanced AI platforms and large databases.
Following the merger, the Fetch.AI Foundation, Ocean Protocol Foundation, and SingularityNET Foundation will remain independent entities, each of them responsible for managing the development of their respective platforms. All the platforms will adopt the ASI token, and the ASI Alliance will prioritize cooperative synergetic development.
The total supply of $ASI will be 2,630,547,141 tokens, composed of 866,700,367 allocated to AGIX tokens, 1,152,997,575 allocated to FET tokens, and 610,849,199 to OCEAN tokens. This means FET, OCEAN, and AGIX tokens will be swapped to ASI at the following ratios: 1 FET = 1 ASI; 1 OCEAN = 0.433226 ASI; 1 AGIX = 0.433350 ASI.
Binance will support the Fetch.ai (FET), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), and SingularityNET (AGIX) token merge to Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). For additional information, user can read our announcement.
