The European Central Bank is once again tackling #Bitcoin , but this time with a new and surprising angle: The price of BTC will continue to rise.

A long article of about twenty pages, hosted on the scientific publications site SSRN and signed by two members of the ECB, Ulrich Bindseil and Jürgen Schaaf, entitled "The Distributional Consequences of Bitcoin" was published in mid-October.

The authors start from a hypothesis rarely put forward by regulators: an increase in the price of #Bitcoin.

But the scenario is still based on the idea that bitcoin is actually worthless.

The price would then be maintained upwards in a "balance of beliefs" between sellers and buyers.
