FILMS ABOUT THE FINANCIAL MARKET.
For those who enjoy and find it easier to learn by watching films/documentaries, here is a list of some that I have watched about the financial market. I believe that they are all available on Netflix.
1. Wall Street (1987): One of the first films I watched about the financial world, it portrays the excessive ambition and dubious ethics of some Wall Street operators.
2. Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps (2010). It follows the same style as the previous one.
3. The Wolf of Wall Street (2013): Based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, the film explores the world of financial crime and the extravagant lifestyle of its protagonists.
4. Margin Call (2011): A tense drama that takes place over 24 hours in a large investment bank on the brink of bankruptcy. 5. Hunting Madoff (2010): Documentary about the biggest pyramid scheme in history, Madoff was the creator and manager of Nasdaq. 6. Capitalism – A Love Story (2009): Critical documentary that analyzes the capitalist system and its consequences. 7. GameStop Against Wall Street (2022) - This is perhaps the most iconic documentary of all, it shows how beginners (sardines) artificially raised the stock prices of a baseless business, among other things... 8. The Laundromat (2016): I watched this one about 3 times, it has an unpretentious air, but it shows how the money laundering that involved the corruption scandal in the world/Brazil worked. 9. The Money Changer: The Story of Nelma Kodama (2024) - tells how the money changer got involved in one of the biggest corruption scandals in Brazil. 10. The Big Short - Tells the story of the 2008 US subprime mortgage that contributed to the need to create bitcoin. #BITCOIN
