According to TechFlow, Narek Gevorgyan, CEO of cryptocurrency portfolio management company CoinStats, said on the X platform that the company's AWS infrastructure was hacked, and preliminary evidence showed that the attack was caused by inducing an employee to download malware through social engineering. Gevorgyan said that it was very painful to see the results of his six years of hard work suffer such a blow, especially since the attack targeted the CoinStats Wallet, a secondary function used by less than 1% of users. Currently, the company is waiting for the final report from law enforcement in order to release a more detailed analysis of the incident and countermeasures.

Earlier news said that CoinStats was hacked on the evening of June 22, and about 1,590 wallets were affected.
