A federal jury in Greensboro, North Carolina, found Remy St. Felix, 24, of West Palm Beach, Florida, guilty of orchestrating a series of violent home attacks to steal the victims' cryptocurrency. 😱

St. Felix was charged with nine crimes, including conspiracy, kidnapping, robbery, fraud and using a firearm to commit cryptocurrency crimes.

Court documents and evidence at trial showed that St. Felix and his associates carried out attacks on homes in several states, including North Carolina, Florida, Texas and New York.

The FBI solved multi-state crypto crimes and discovered that criminals used sophisticated money laundering and encrypted communications techniques. However, investigators linked the activities of the criminal group, arrested the criminals and brought them to justice.
