Today Solana Foundation made an important announcement, presenting a new tool that will revolutionize the way of making crypto transactions on any website or application (where it is allowed to put a link), marking a big difference between its competitors. What type of transactions can we do with this new tool? Let's explore.

The tool called Blinks ( #Blockchain Links) was presented on the official #Solana⁩ page in X, which allows users to transform any chain "action" into a link, which can then be shared. So wherever you place this link, you can perform the "action" in Solana.

For example, this link can be used on the

Have you ever imagined something like this?

And this is just the beginning of what could come in the future, attracting more people to the crypto space, without having to go through dapps with an interface that is not very pleasant for the user experience (Just imagine asking someone new to buy an NFT and all the steps you need to follow).

Now just through a link and a click you can perform different actions on the @Solana Official blockchain.

In order to carry out this work plan, Solana Foundation has assembled a team to begin testing and promptly using the "actions."

The first team is the dapps from the Solana ecosystem, among them we have Cubik, Sanctum, @Tensor , Realms, access, @Jupiter 🪐 , Helium, Truffle, Phantom and Backpack.

This is the interface of #jupiter on the X platform to purchase #tokens JUP.

As this is something new and in the experimental stage, this "mode" must be activated to be able to see the links in this way on the X platform.

In the case of the Phantom wallet, we have to go to our phantom wallet -> settings -> Experimental features -> activate the "Solana Actions on X" option.

For those wondering about the malicious links and bad actors that always exist, these official dapps are on a "white list", so if someone tries to put a link that directs them to a different website than the one on the "whitelist", a new confirmation will be requested to warn you if you trust "the website".

There is no doubt that it is a great advance to attract more people and get them to know the crypto ecosystem, in this case that of Solana, in an easier and more practical way. As I mentioned this is just the beginning, as there is more to come for the Solana ecosystem, as well as new "actions" and more "Dapss". It goes without saying that in any case we should remain alert to any suspicious links.
