A few hours ago, a publication from the official X account of rapper 50CENT was surprised, where he promoted a new #memecoin on the #Solana network with the ticker $GUNIT, however, it was all a lie orchestrated by a hacker.
Lately the Solana network was being bombarded by new #memecoins celebrities, the most popular case being Iggy Azalea and her memecoin $MOTHER, so hackers were on the lookout for any opportunity to deceive investors.
Thus, they managed to hack the X account of the rapper and producer 50CENT and promoted a new memecoin, which instantly caught the attention of several users who did not hesitate to buy. Some time later the singer came out through his official Instagram account to deny this information, and warn the general public that his account on X had been violated by a #Hacker .
Note how the price of this memecoin immediately began to fall when the truth became known. A new rug pull caused by a hacker. Always be careful when faced with unexpected announcements of a new memecoin.
