Mocaverse, the consumer network with interoperable infrastructure for accounts, identities, reputation and the PointFi system built by Animoca Brands, today announced a strategic partnership with OneFootball, a soccer platform with over 200 million fans. OneFootball will rely on Mocaverse’s Realm Network interoperable SDK to launch a soccer domain DID and reputation layer, Football ID, to bring global soccer fans to Web3.
OneFootball and Mocaverse are committed to improving the football fan experience and retention through Football ID. Over 200 million monthly active users of the OneFootball network and applications will have the opportunity to claim their unique Football ID on-chain. Football ID will serve as a digital passport for fans, recording, reflecting and rewarding fan engagement, allowing them to demonstrate their fan identity and loyalty regardless of which team they support.
Mocaverse will serve as a key ecosystem partner and use its Realm Network’s interoperable infrastructure SDK to launch Football ID. Football ID will share the same login system with other Realm IDs such as Moca ID and Anime ID. At the same time, Football ID will allow the football fan community to customize and claim a unique DID built in the form of name.football in the OneFootball application.
With OneFootball joining the Moca Network, Football ID users will be able to access a variety of rewards and experiences supported by over 400 companies in the Animoca Brands ecosystem and Mocaverse contracted partners, including GameFi, IP, Sports, Music and more. Fans who receive a Football ID will be able to participate in various Web3 activities while earning Realm Points on the Mocaverse Realm Network.
