MicroStrategy, the company with the largest holding of Bitcoins in the world, purchased an additional 11,931 Bitcoins worth approximately $786 million. Michael Saylor, the company's founder and a prominent Bitcoin supporter, said in a statement that they paid an average of $65,883 per coin.
According to an official statement, MicroStrategy currently holds 226,331 Bitcoins and has paid out a total of $8.33 billion. The average price of all Bitcoin purchases to date is $36,798 per coin, the company reported.
This latest purchase further solidifies MicroStrategy’s position as the world’s largest Bitcoin holder, demonstrating the company’s confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term value.
