According to ChainCatcher, the NEAR Foundation has officially announced the first six AI teams selected for the NEAR Horizon AI incubation program. These teams will build basic models, model training, and developer tools for the intersection of AI x Web3, supporting scalable, efficient, and secure user-owned AI. The following are the first six projects of the NEAR AI x HZN incubation program:

  1. Mizu: Working to build the first synthetic open data layer, aiming to foster an open, collaborative data ecosystem among AI developers.

  2. Pond: Developing cryptographic models using graph neural networks (GNNs) to analyze on-chain data and predict future behavior.

  3. Nevermined: Provides a powerful payment infrastructure for AI businesses and facilitates transactions for AI developers.

  4. Hyperbolic: Provides open access AI cloud, including GPU marketplace and AI inference services.

  5. Ringfence: Helping creators and artists monetize their work while maintaining ownership.

  6. Exabits: Delivers GPU computing in a datacenter environment, providing the necessary physical and technical conditions for serious AI training, inference, and fine-tuning.
