According to TechFlow, Holograph Protocol tweeted this morning that on June 13, 2024, the Holograph Protocol suffered an illegal attack, and the attacker increased the total supply of HLG. Malicious actors transferred 1 billion HLG to multiple exchanges and sold them in large quantities. After notifying the exchanges, about 200 million HLG were frozen and are being recovered through law enforcement procedures.

There is currently a surplus of about 800 million HLG in the market. The plan to restore the total supply of HLG to 10 billion has begun to be implemented.

53,249,975 HLG were destroyed for the first time, and there are 946,750,025 HLG to be destroyed.

In the meantime, they have hired Halborn Security to review the attack and plan to work with it on a regular basis for security audits.
