Pudgy Penguins, the popular NFT collectible, was started by four college friends in 2021 and quickly brought in $800,000. However, NFT prices dropped at the end of 2021 and the Pudgy Penguins community was disappointed with the creators team's attitude towards their collection. In 2022, Luca Schnetzler purchased the rights to the project for $2.5 million, turning Pudgy Penguins into a unique ecosystem. However, despite the general decline in the NFT market, Pudgy Penguins is trying to maintain interest in its tokens by launching additional collectibles, games and even physical products. 🐧
