The dYdX protocol has launched version 5.0.0, introducing isolated margin, isolated markets, and support for Raydium Markets. The new features allow traders to assign collateral to a specific trade, rather than exposing funds to price movements across multiple trades. This move is expected to enhance the protocol's stability and create more trading options. The upgrade also includes live price feeds from decentralized exchanges and support for Solana's memecoin ecosystem, allowing for permissionless listings in as little as four days. The announcement follows a community vote earlier this month.
