According to Foresight News, BNB Chain announced that it will launch BEP-336, which is inspired by Ethereum's EIP-4844. It aims to optimize data storage and processing on the blockchain and significantly reduce transaction costs (up to 90%). BEP-336 will be officially launched through the Haber hard fork, which is expected to take place on June 20, 2023.

BEP 336 introduces "Blob-Carrying Transactions" (BlobTx), a concept designed to simplify the transaction verification process of the network. Blob is a temporary and cost-effective memory segment that can capture large data blocks, each up to 128 KB. Instead of verifying each transaction within a block one by one, the network only needs to verify the data in the attached blob.
