BTC short-term investors surge

A recent report from Bitfinex Alpha revealed a change in Bitcoin ownership. Driven by the popularity of spot Bitcoin ETFs, short-term investments have surged, while long-term holders remain confident in the market.

There has been a significant change in Bitcoin (BTC) ownership in the cryptocurrency market recently, especially among short-term holders.

Short-term Bitcoin investors, those who typically hold Bitcoin for less than 155 days, have significantly increased their activity. Their total holdings increased from 2.2 million BTC in January to more than 3.4 million BTC in mid-April, an increase of nearly 55%.

This growth is largely related to the growing influence of spot Bitcoin ETFs.
