Binance co-founder Yi He warns of scams on Twitter.

The scammer has already deceived users, causing them significant financial losses.

Binance urges caution and recommends checking information through official channels.

Binance co-founder Yi He has issued a disclaimer against a lookalike using her identity to scam unsuspecting users on social media platform X. Yi He denied issuing any new memecoins and has taken the matter to the platform's owner#elonMusk to ask if there was any way to solve the problem on his end.

Yi He warned the public that clicking on the lookalike link could result in users' money being stolen. She noted that the hacker had already deceived many people, causing significant financial losses.

Ms He had previously posted a message warning the public after spotting a fake account impersonating her identity X. She singled out someone who had clicked on a link provided by the fictitious person and received 60#ETH

The Binance co-founder confirmed that her only X account has the handle @heyibinance and $BNB is the only token she supports.

He shared screenshots of the impostor, as well as a couple of X accounts attempting to impersonate her, using handles that reflected her changes in personality. She warned users to be on the lookout for such fake accounts and to report them to X to prevent others from being scammed.

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance also supported its co-founder. The cryptocurrency exchange urged users to be careful with the information they encounter online. Binance emphasized the importance of avoiding unverified links and/or QR codes, advising users to double-check information through official channels before engaging.

The recent incident highlights the widespread trickery of online scammers who exploit the reputations of famous personalities to deceive users. It goes without saying that cryptocurrency enthusiasts should protect their digital assets through proper controls.
