According to TechFlow, The Block reported that the blockchain data indexing and query protocol The Graph Foundation has completed the Sunrise plan, which marks The Graph's transition to a fully decentralized data layer.

Sunrise completed a three-phase decentralization plan in which subgraphs were upgraded from centralized hosting services to The Graph’s globally distributed network of token-incentivized individuals and independent companies that act as data indexers.

It is reported that The Graph introduced subgraph technology to index Ethereum in 2018, but now has indexed more than 55 chains, including Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, NEAR and Cosmos.
