According to TechFlow, Uniswap Labs has hired Katherine Minarik, former legal director of Coinbase, as chief legal officer as the company may face legal disputes with the US SEC. Two months before she took office, the US SEC said it might take legal action against Uniswap Labs for alleged violations of federal securities laws.
Minarik, who has been at Coinbase for four years, most recently served as vice president of legal affairs and deputy general counsel, will take over the role from former Uniswap Labs chief legal officer Marvin Ammori, who said Monday he plans to transition to a part-time role in November.
