What is iotx?
IoTeX, an open source project originated in Silicon Valley, has been committed to creating tailor-made solutions for IoT applications since its inception in 2017. Its core mission is to build an open and trusted IoT ecosystem, allowing all people and machines to freely exchange information and value in a safe, trustworthy and privacy-protected environment.
To achieve this goal, IoTeX combines advanced technologies such as blockchain, secure hardware and privacy computing to ensure that accurate data from reliable devices can be used for trusted decentralized applications (DApps). Behind this innovative initiative are four experienced founders: Raullen Chai, Qevan Guo, Xinxin Fan and Jing Sun, who have deep professional backgrounds in cryptocurrency and blockchain.
IoTeX's native currency IOTX plays a vital role in this ecosystem. It is not only responsible for managing the underlying blockchain protocol, but also serves as the power source of the entire ecosystem to promote the smooth operation of various functions. At the same time, IoTeX attaches great importance to user privacy protection, and provides users with solid privacy and security protection by implementing ring signature technology and hiding the address of the transaction recipient.
