According to ChainCatcher, Bitcoin L2 project Zulu Network announced on the X platform that its ZuluPrime testnet Beta was officially launched today.
The core updates of the L2 ZuluPrime testnet Beta version include:
1. Zulu Bridge smart contract upgrade;
2. Zulu chain's transaction fees can be paid in a variety of tokens, currently supporting BTC and Zulu tokens
3. The overall performance and interface have been optimized. The Beta marketing activity Lwazi plans to start on June 8th.
Zulu Network has become the first Bitcoin L2 project in the industry to complete the simulation of ZKP on Bitcoin through the Bitcoin Script language, and has contributed code to the BitVM2 official repository. Currently, the Zulu team is rapidly iterating and plans to upgrade to Bitcoin's true L2 in the next phase, inheriting the security of the Bitcoin network.
