Odaily Planet Daily News Stand With Crypto, a crypto advocacy organization supported by Coinbase, said that as of Wednesday, its registered members have exceeded 1 million. The organization was founded in August last year, and its website stated that it has raised millions of dollars in donations, aiming to use the money to mobilize American cryptocurrency enthusiasts to support political outcomes that are favorable to the technology. The organization scores American politicians, holds public events to highlight digital asset issues, and recently established a political action committee (PAC) to directly contact candidates. "One million supporters from all states and political camps are sending a clear message to Washington. Cryptocurrency is a frontier issue, and we have enough people to support it," said Nick Carr, chief strategist of Stand With Crypto. Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, is also one of the organization's major donors. He said: "Stand With Crypto has surpassed its goal of 1 million supporters at an unprecedented speed. There are still five months to go before the US election, and cryptocurrency voters will continue to go all out." (CoinDesk)
