Binance updates custody subaccount function, sets minimum asset holding requirements

On June 4, Binance announced that starting from 08:00 on July 1, 2024 (Eastern Time Zone 8), Binance will update its custody subaccount function (MSA). The update includes asset requirements, fee structure and new custody subaccount fees.

The main changes are as follows:

1. Asset requirements: Each custody subaccount must always maintain an asset balance of at least $100,000.

2. Market maker project restrictions: Custodial subaccounts do not participate in the market maker program rebate, but their order volume is still included in the market maker program level statistics of the trading team's main account.

3. Taker project restrictions: The U-standard contract taker program discount does not apply to custody subaccounts, but their taker trading volume is still included in the taker program statistics.

4. Custodial subaccount fee: Each trading team's custody subaccount is required to pay a minimum fee of 500 USDT per month. The fee is charged based on the higher of the total asset value or total trading volume of all custody subaccounts under each trading team's main account. $BNB
