Galaxy Digital announced that it has tokenized a more than 300-year-old Stradivari violin owned by Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu, ChainCatcher reported. Siu is using the tokenized violin as collateral for financing facilitated by Galaxy Digital’s Global Marketplace business.
Made in 1708, the violin is worth an estimated $9 million and once belonged to Catherine the Great of Russia.
