Binance's General Counsel Noah Perlman evaluated the legal battle between the Nigerian government and Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan. Perlman did not hold out too much hope about Gambaryan's situation: "We don't think we'll be able to get him back any time soon." Binance is doing everything it can to help Gambaryan return to the US, but most of the bargaining power lies with the US government. Gambaryan previously worked for the IRS. Although Gambaryan was referred to the hospital with suspicion of malaria after fainting in court on May 24, he was not taken out of prison. Perlman emphasized Binance's willingness to cooperate with authorities. 📉
