How to register an account on Binance

Step 1: Register a Binance account

Android phone installation steps

  1. Use the App download link in the reply email to download the apk installation package.

  2. Install the apk file.

  3. Note: Some brands of Android phones may block the installation process. If you encounter this problem, it is recommended to use an Apple phone for installation.

Apple phones need to use an Apple ID from another region, and it is recommended to use an Apple ID from Taiwan. Please note that you can use an Apple ID from the United States before 2024, but from 2024 onwards, Binance accounts in the United States must be US citizens to pass identity verification.

There are two ways to obtain an Apple ID in Taiwan:

Method 1: Register a new Apple ID

  1. Go to appleid.apple.com.

  2. When creating a new Apple ID, select Taiwan as the region.

Method 2: Change the region of an existing Apple ID

  1. Sign in at appleid.apple.com.

  2. Click on “Personal Information”.

  3. Click Country or Region.

  4. Change the region to Taiwan.

Note: When changing the region of your Apple ID, you do not need a bank card from that region. Select "None" as the payment method and change it directly. Taiwan addresses can be obtained through an online address generator.

After completing the above steps, log in to the Apple App Store with your new Apple ID, search for and install the Binance App, and then log in with your previously registered Binance account.

Step 3: Complete identity verification

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a regulatory requirement that financial service providers must fulfill to ensure compliance. To complete KYC on the Binance App, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Binance app.

  2. Follow the prompts and upload the front and back of your ID card photo.

  3. Wait for the review to complete.

You can choose to live in Taiwan or China, both of which can be verified. After completing the above steps, your identity verification is complete and you can start using all the features of Binance.

Step 4: Purchase cryptocurrency after completing identity verification

  1. Log in to the Binance App:

    • Open and log in to the Binance app on your phone.

  2. Deposit:

    • On the App homepage, select “C2C Buy Coins”.

    • Use RMB to buy USDT.

USDT is a digital dollar on the blockchain. All currencies in the currency circle are traded with USDT. With USDT, you can buy various cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Dogecoin (DOGE).
