The story of one crypto investor who managed to restore access to a “forgotten” wallet with 43.6 bitcoins has acquired new details. The lucky guy created this wallet back in 2013, but after some time he lost access to it due to damage to the file with private keys.

In 2022, the owner turned to two well-known cryptanalyst “hackers” for help. They were able to open his wallet by taking advantage of a vulnerability in the RoboForm application, with which it was created back in 2013.

The story itself took place in the fall of 2023, but only now some details of this unusual case have become known. Thus, it was possible to find out that the owner of the “forgotten” wallet sold part of the recovered coins at a rate of about $62,000 per BTC.

At the same time, he decided to continue to keep the remaining 30 bitcoins worth almost $2 million in the same “legendary” wallet. It seems that the investor expects further growth of the first cryptocurrency.#binance
