Good News for Altcoins from Ripple CEO: There Are XRP, SOL and ADA After Ethereum!

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse evaluated the possibility of spot ETFs for 3 altcoins.

At his Consensus 2024 talk in Austin, Brad Garlinghouse talked about the Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) ETFs. Describing the SEC's changing attitude towards spot Ethereum ETFs as quite positive, Garlinghouse stated that Ripple, Solana and Cardano ETFs are only a matter of time:

I think it's just a matter of time and it's inevitable that there will be an XRP ETF, there will be a Solana (SOL) ETF, there will be a Cardano (ADA) ETF and that's great.

Garlinghouse criticized the SEC's vague crypto regulations, noting that a clearer regulatory structure is needed in the US:

Somehow, Gensler believes that the Orange Grove tests from 70-80 years ago provide clear rules for cryptocurrencies. This makes no sense and is a disgrace because the SEC's behavior has become such a political liability that it even affects the presidential race.
