PANews reported on May 30 that according to The Block, BlackRock submitted a revised S-1 registration statement for the proposed Ethereum ETF, disclosing information about seed fund investors. BlackRock stated in the revised document: "On May 21, 2024, seed relief fund investors conditionally purchased 400,000 shares of the seed creation basket at a price equivalent to $25 per share." BlackRock also stated that the shares will be listed and traded under the code "ETHA". The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently began a dialogue with issuers on the S-1 form. Some analysts speculate that the process may take weeks. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas tweeted on Wednesday that BlackRock's revised S-1 is a "good sign." The launch of the Ethereum ETF at the end of June is a reasonable possibility, but analysts still believe that the Ethereum ETF will be launched on July 4.
