Shiba Inu, the famous dog in Japan, dies, and hundreds of fans attend his memorial service

In another version of the story, Kabosu the Shiba Inu may have lived an anonymous life, simply because he was a dog captured by his owner Atsuko Sato in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture.

But when a photo of Kapuso, sporting a comically smug appearance even for a Shiba Inu, began circulating the Internet, a star was born, with Kapuso becoming the basis of the Doji meme. In recognition of Kapusu's global fame, Sakura held a public memorial in December, followed by the installation of a Kapusu manhole cover in February.

Sadly, Kabosu has now left us, as Sato announced the news via her Kabosu Mama Twitter account on May 24.

"This morning, Kabu-chan fell into a deep sleep. She died peacefully while I was petting her. To everyone who has loved Kabu-chan for a long time, thank you. »

Sato later provided more details about Kabosu's death on his website *Walks with Kabosu-chan*. يتبع
