According to the latest reports, Argentine authorities are looking to work with officials in Bitcoin-friendly El Salvador to boost its adoption of Bitcoin.

According to an official report from the Argentine National Securities Commission (CNV), the agency's president and vice president, Roberto Silva and Patricia Boydo, held a meeting with Juan Reyes, head of the National Digital Assets Commission of El Salvador (CNAD), last week. To discuss the experience of the Central American country in adopting Bitcoin.

The report revealed that Silva and Boydo talked about the growing use of cryptocurrencies in the global economy, and exchanged concepts with Reyes about their El Salvador journey so far.

It is worth noting that Argentina has become more friendly to Bitcoin over the years.

In November, Javier Miley, a Bitcoin supporter and far-right liberal, emerged victorious in Argentina's presidential run.

Will Bitcoin be embraced and adopted as an official currency in Argentina, following in the footsteps of El Salvador?
