15 Percent Hack Rise in Altcoin Price: Position Opened Before!

The cyber attacker, who took over the account of a popular cryptocurrency investor, created a sudden increase in the altcoin price.

The account of a cryptocurrency investor named "GiganticRebirth", known for making profits from radical transactions, was hacked on May 26. The attacker who took over the account created sudden increases in altcoin prices by posting about Ordi (ORDI) and LUNA2.

Following these posts made through GiganticRebirth's account, the price of ORDI increased by 15% in a short time, from 38.7 dollars to 44.4 dollars. LUNA2, on the other hand, did not witness as much activity as ORDI.

It was noticed that the attacker who took over the account opened a futures position specifically for ORDI on the cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and OKX, approximately 6 minutes before making the posts.

Making a statement on the issue, GiganticRebirth claimed that the attacker bribed one of X's employees and thus took over the account:

Two months ago, it was reported that someone affiliated with Twitter had bribed me to access my account, and security was subsequently increased. However, if employee X gets paid for admin access, security cannot be ensured. Elon Musk, clean up your operation.
