🔥SEC contacts exchanges to update their applications for Ethereum spot ETFs.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has contacted the Nasdaq, Chicago Board Option Exchange (CBOE) and the New York Stock Exchange for updates and possible changes to the Ether spot ETF applications.
According to Reuters, officials from #SEC contacted these mentioned exchanges just before the deadline, set as May 23. On May 23, the SEC must decide whether or not to approve Vaneck's cash #ETF .
So far there are 9 companies that have applied to list an Ether spot ETF, among them we find #grayscale , Vaneck, 21 Shares, Ark Invest, Hashdex, Invesco, Galaxy, Fidelity, #BlackRock , Franklin Templeton and Bitwise.
