MOG, $PEPE skyrockets as traders turn to Ethereum memecoin
A variety of tokens in the Ethereum ecosystem have skyrocketed in the past 24 hours after two Bloomberg analysts raised the approval rates for spot Ethereum ETFs in the United States.
The cat-themed Mog Coin (MOG), a reference to the popular TikTok meme, jumped nearly 50% while the frog-themed pepe (PEPE) token rose more than 20%. Both were initially released on Ethereum in 2023 and have since become major memecoins, alongside larger memecoins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
