According to ChainCatcher, Dolce & Gabbana USA Inc., the American company of Italian luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana, was sued by a customer. The customer claimed that the NFT and clothing in the Metaverse that he bought for $6,000 lost 97% of its value due to the company's delivery error. The complaint stated that the delivery of the digital clothing was 20 days later than scheduled and "can only be used on the Metaverse platform with almost no users."

Even after the digital clothing is released, token holders still cannot actually use them for the next 11 days because Dolce & Gabbana has not yet obtained approval from the Metaverse platform in advance. Luke Brown, who filed the lawsuit, said he lost $5,800 on the NFT he purchased. Brown filed the lawsuit on behalf of a group of people who purchased digital assets of the NFT project. The case also named NFT market UNXD as a defendant.
