“Lawyers for former top executive of failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX Ryan Salame, who admitted his role in the collapse of the company, are asking the court to sentence their client to 18 months in prison at an upcoming hearing scheduled for May 28. Salame agreed to pay a fine of $6 million the US government and $5 million to FTX's creditors, as well as the confiscation of two houses in Massachusetts and a 2021 Porsche, pending a court decision."
