PANews reported on May 15 that according to Reuters, a federal court in the United States ordered on Tuesday that Musk must testify again in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigation into its $44 billion acquisition of Twitter. Last October, the SEC sued Musk and asked him to testify. Musk said at the time that the SEC was trying to "harass" him with a large number of subpoenas. The SEC previously stated that the focus of the investigation is whether Musk violated federal securities laws when he bought Twitter shares in 2022. The agency is also reviewing Musk's statements and SEC documents submitted on the transaction.
