In Japan, people who invest have a headache.
Why do I say that?
1. Put your bank card in it, inflation, depreciation, and inheritance tax (40%)👎
2. Buy a house, the return rate is only 2.5%, and there is also inheritance tax. The transfer fee and agency fee are also high. If you make money, you still have to pay income tax, etc. 👎
3. Take it out of the country. Unless you don’t live in Japan, you still have to pay taxes. 👎
4. Give it to financial managers. They just buy S&P and indexes with their eyes closed. 👎
5. Buy BTB. Pay 55% income tax. 👎
6. Buy BTB ETF. There is no such thing in Japan.
Because buying cryptocurrency stocks in a securities account in Japan only has a 20% income tax.
So in fact, many investors in Japan also hold cryptocurrency stocks and hold them for a long time.
Because there is no other choice.
I will probably continue to do the band until the interest rate hike in 2025.
