[10.7 years later, the ancient Bitcoin whale suddenly wakes up, with a profit of 49,274.2%]

On a calm Sunday morning, two Bitcoin wallets that had been dormant for ten years suddenly activated, causing a huge shock in the cryptocurrency market.

According to Lookonchain, the two wallets, which had no activity since 10.7 years ago, quickly transferred all 1,000 of their Bitcoins in just 20 minutes, which currently have a market capitalization of $60.9 million.

The two wallets, numbered "16vRqA" and "1DUJuH" respectively, first received 500 BTC each in September 2013, when the price of Bitcoin was only $124. Fast forward to today, those Bitcoins have increased in value by 49,274.2%, averaging $5.7 million per year, for a total gain of $60.9 million.

The sudden activity of these two sleepy Bitcoin giants has sparked widespread speculation within the cryptocurrency community, with many believing it could signal a key change in market sentiment.

Interestingly, despite making huge profits, the owners of these wallets chose not to cash out through exchanges and instead moved their assets to undisclosed wallets, adding to the mystery of their motivations for their actions. Historically, the resurgence of long-dormant Bitcoin holders has often been seen as a bearish sign, suggesting the possibility of selling to lock in profits. However, the market is still paying close attention to what will happen next for these ancient wallets.
