Bankrupt Cryptocurrency Company Sent These Altcoins to the Stock Exchange

Bankrupt investment company Genesis Global Capital LLC sent many different altcoins to exchanges overnight.

According to Lookonchain data, Genesis sent 6 different cryptocurrencies to the Gemini exchange in the first hours of the day. These are: 16.4 million GRT ($4.69 million), 396 million AMP ($2.94 million), 123 thousand INJ ($2.93 million), 32 thousand 331 AAVE ($2.88 million), 970 It was listed at PAXG ($2.26 million) and 9.19 million BAT ($2.25 million).

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Genesis and Gemini in January 2023 over their joint cryptocurrency program. Genesis, which is affiliated with Digital Currency Group, went bankrupt on the same date.

According to the statement made by the SEC in March this year, Genesis reached a settlement by agreeing to pay a fine of $21 million.

Genesis Trading still has $2.41 billion worth of cryptocurrencies in its wallet. This includes 32 thousand Bitcoin, 125 thousand Ethereum, 115 thousand 670 COMP, 9.54 million GRT and 5.99 million SAND.
