The hacker behind the $47 million hack of the #KyberSwap decentralized protocol said he was willing to make a deal with the project team "if they behave politely." The hacking of the KyberSwap Elastic site became known on November 23 - at that time, the hacker continued to use a vulnerability in the protocol's smart contracts. He managed to withdraw $47 million worth of various assets, with the theft taking place on various blockchains, including #Arbitrum , #Optimism and Polygon .
"I said that I am ready for negotiations. In response, I received mostly threats, deadlines, and general unfriendliness from management. It's okay, I don't mind," the hacker wrote.
He said he has prepared a statement on the deal and plans to "release it on November 30 at exactly noon UTC." Last week, the burglar also made contact. He left a message that
"negotiations will begin in a few hours" as soon as he is "fully rested".
Cryptocurrency exchange #HTX (former Huobi) and network #HECO were recently informed about hacking. Unknown people withdrew assets worth approximately $110 million. The fact of the hack was confirmed by the head of HTX.
