Odaily Planet Daily News: According to the first quarter 13F filing, several institutional investors disclosed the purchase of spot Bitcoin ETFs, with a total amount of about $20 million. Among them, US Bancorp disclosed a spot Bitcoin ETF investment worth more than $15 million on May 8. The company revealed that it purchased approximately 87,744 shares of Fidelity's FBTC stock, worth $5.4 million, 46,011 shares of Grayscale's GBTC stock, worth $2.9 million, and 178,567 shares of BlackRock's IBIT stock, worth $7.2 million. According to the latest 13F filing, the company's total investment is $71.8 billion. Edmond De Rothschild Holding SA separately disclosed a spot Bitcoin ETF investment worth more than $4.2 million on May 9. The firm reported holding 103,600 shares of BlackRock IBIT, valued at just under $4.2 million. It also reported 1,300 shares of GBTC, valued at $82,121. The firm’s total investment is $6 billion, according to its latest 13F filing. In addition, Hightower Advisors and SouthState Bank, Susquehanna International Group, BNP Paribas, Burkett Financial Services, and Legacy Wealth Asset Management have purchased the ETF. Meanwhile, MassMutual reported continuing to invest in Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) on May 9, with an investment of 227 shares valued at $14,340. (cryptoslate)
