DOGE has officially been added to Tesla's list of payment options.

Recently, the famous electronic car manufacturer Tesla, which is run by Elon Musk, added Dogecoin as an official payment method on its website. The payments page has been updated to include Dogecoin, the crypto community's favorite meme coin.

However, Tesla still only accepts DOGE for items in the Tesla Online Store. The addition states that “Dogecoin may also be adopted for use in some products.” Image via Tesla

Elon Musk's company first began accepting Dogecoin as an experiment in January 2022. At the time, the tech mogul said, it was an experiment to see how things would go. Various company products began to be sold for DOGE, for example, the Tesla Cyberwhistle and the “Giga Texas” belt buckle.
