After much hesitation, I finally decided to send this short article.

$SAGA mainnet has just been launched. The official Twitter account also said yesterday that the first batch of stakers will be snapshotted in April, and it is very likely that the first batch of testnet projects will be launched on the mainnet in the next few months.

However, I personally feel that the current coin price is still quite high. I also reluctantly bought 40 sagas (costing about $5.1), and prepared to stake them in keplr wallets with 2 wallets (about $100, with a 99% chance of getting an airdrop).

By the way, the exchange withdrawal fee is very expensive, and the on-chain interaction gas is quite cheap (less than 0.01 saga, and gas is only about 0.002 when staking).

If you want to bet on subsequent airdrops, I personally recommend buying some and staking them separately (the saga stake of a wallet should be as much as possible above $100, and I staked 20 in one wallet). The early circulation is small, and there is a high probability that you can get some small meat.

There are some risks in staking (the staked coins may be confiscated if the node does evil), so you have to choose the staked nodes carefully. I only give you how to choose, not specific suggestions.

Suggestions on the selection of staked nodes (common to the cosmos ecosystem):

1. Do not choose nodes with voting rights within the top 5, and staked nodes of exchanges. (Not decentralized enough, many airdrops will also filter out)

2. Do not choose nodes with a commission rate of 0. (Many airdrops will filter out greedy stakers)

3. Try to choose nodes with more self-stakes. (Higher cost of doing evil)

4. Keep the online time as close to 100% as possible; keep the block loss rate as close to 0%. (Increase staking income)

5. Nodes that frequently participate in community proposal voting. (Active nodes contribute to ecological development and network stability)
