Dynasty Studios is currently developing a blockchain-powered multiplayer survival game called The Providence set in a harsh and unforgiving space environment. Players must create everything they need from scratch by battling fiercely for essential resources like metals, biomaterials, and crystals. The Providence universe features a player-driven economy, where players can actively shape the game’s ecosystem through their actions, trades, and collaborations. All in-game items and resources are recorded on the blockchain, ensuring secure ownership and enabling trade on a decentralized marketplace.
In The Providence, players can collaborate to increase their chances of survival by sharing resources, constructing buildings, and embarking on exploration expeditions. The game’s goal is to establish a permanent base of operations on stable asteroids known as Homesteads and Player Outposts, and extract valuable resources from Slipworlds, which are asteroids on the verge of collapsing into a singularity. Slipworlds offer a high-risk/high-reward gameplay experience, pushing players to hone their skills and engage in strategic economic interactions. PvE and PvP challenges in Slipworlds offer players access to tier resources and blueprints, which players can use to upgrade their homestead or craft new items.
