Their curricula will cover key blockchain and Web3 topics and disciplines, offering students an in-depth understanding of the digital asset space.
By offering these programs in conjunction with renowned business schools across Europe and engaging renowned academics, Binance Academy hopes to massively expand the reach of its educational efforts and help even more students learn about blockchain technology. The university partners are the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), the European Business Institute (EBI) in Luxembourg and the ESCP Business School, which has several locations across Europe, including Madrid and Turin.
From fundamentals to advanced solutions
The courses were designed and recorded in partnership with professors who already teach courses related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain on European university campuses.
The 4-week course at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), Digital Assets and the Blockchain Industry, was designed in partnership with Dr. Jakub Jedlinský and researcher Kareem Abdallah. It focuses on topics such as Bitcoin, the emergence and evolution of the cryptocurrency industry, insights into the current and future state of cryptocurrencies, as well as the usefulness of cryptocurrencies and their effects on financial systems.
The course offered in partnership with the European Business Institute (EBI) in Luxembourg was designed in conjunction with the University President and Academic Dean, Dr. James Mulli. Over the course of 7 weeks of study, Blockchain and P2P Fundamentals will cover the broad applications of blockchain across industries, structured into modules such as Digital Cryptocurrency Trading and Mining, Smart Contract Creation, Regulation of Cryptocurrencies and CBDCs and more. Students will discover practical use cases for blockchain in industries ranging from asset management to insurance, international payments, supply chain management, healthcare, and more.
ESCP Business School will offer a 4-week program created with Dr. Marcus Schmalbach, professor of Blockchain and AI. The course, titled Blockchain Mastery: From Fundamentals to Advanced Corporate Solutions, will offer participants a holistic view of the digital asset landscape and its implications for companies and investors. Students will explore topics ranging from the inception of Bitcoin to blockchain consensus mechanisms, decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenomics, and smart contracts.
