Dogecoin Global Community Celebrates DOGE Day

According to U.Today, the Dogecoin community around the world marked DOGE day on April 20, coinciding with Bitcoin's fourth halving event. The day was filled with celebratory posts, but Elon Musk, a prominent Dogecoin supporter, didn't post about it. Instead, it highlighted another significant event that occurred on the same day.

Musk retweeted a post from a user called 'DogeDesigner', a member of the DOGE team. The tweet celebrated the first Starship launch by Musk's company SpaceX on April 20, 2023. Subsequent Starship launches took place on November 18 of the same year and then on March 14, 2024.

In other news, Dogecoin, the original meme cryptocurrency, reached a high of US$ 0.2201 on March 29th, returning to that value on April 1st. This increase in the price of DOGE was driven by Bitcoin, the world's leading cryptocurrency, reaching a new all-time high of US$ 73,750 on March 14. At the time of writing, Dogecoin is trading at US$ 0.1519, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
