Cardano's treasury now controls 1.5 billion ADA worth $720 million
Cardano's treasury has accumulated 1.5 billion ADA tokens worth over $720 million, representing over 4% of the total supply.
It is a reservoir of funds intended to promote the development of the ecosystem.
Last month, the dollar value of the Treasury briefly topped $1 billion. This prompted Dan Gambadello, host of YouTube channel Crypto Capital Venture, to call it “a fundamental pillar of a self-sustaining ecosystem.”
Despite fluctuations in the dollar value of the treasury due to market dynamics, the accumulation of ADA tokens continues to grow steadily.
“This decentralized nature means that decisions are made by ADA holders, increasing democratic governance and decentralization,” Gambadello added.
