Attention SHIB, XRP, BTC Holders: Critical Update for Binance Users

In a recent tweet, Binance said that it will conduct a scheduled system upgrade from 6:30 am to 9:30 am UTC on April 23 to improve overall system performance and stability.

While system upgrades are a routine maintenance procedure for the exchange, they often result in temporary disruptions to trading and user logins as new features are implemented and infrastructure is optimized. According to Binance, users may experience system errors during the system upgrade process when using the Binance website or Binance app. Affected services include but are not limited to new user registration, user login, and trading services.

As Binance prepares for its scheduled system upgrade on April 23, users who hold SHIB, XRP, BTC, and other cryptocurrencies on the platform should be aware of potential disruptions and plan accordingly. During the system upgrade, Binance Exchange may suspend trading services for cryptocurrencies such as SHIB, XRP, BTC, etc. Users are advised not to place orders or execute trades during this period to avoid any potential disruptions. This means that scheduled transactions may be executed before the scheduled maintenance. In addition, for old users, logging into the Binance website or Binance app may be affected, while for new users, it may be difficult to complete registration during the aforementioned period on April 23.

Binance assured users that all funds remain safe during this upgrade. Its official blog post also noted that the duration of the system upgrade is based on its best estimates and may vary. The cryptocurrency exchange also stated that once the system upgrade is complete, all affected services will be restored, although there may be no further announcements.

While the upcoming system upgrade may cause temporary disruptions, users can mitigate any inconvenience by staying informed, planning, and following best practices for account security.
