HOT: Binance received full license in Dubai
According to Bloomberg, Binance Holdings Ltd. has received the VASP license giving it the right to offer its long-awaited full range of cryptocurrency-related services in Dubai.

According to the register of Dubai's Virtual Assets Authority (VARA), Binance FZE, the local branch in Dubai, possesses an MVP license for the right to temporarily operate brokerage and exchange services from mid-2023. The Provisional Operating MVP license allows Binance to serve institutional investors, while the VASP license is open to individual crypto traders as well. The MVP license is a necessary condition for exchanges to receive VASP in the future.
The VASP license is a much-needed win for Binance, which has suffered a series of legal blows over the past two years, culminating in its acceptance of a settlement closing a long-running investigation from the U.S. Department of Justice Ky (DOJ) with a fine of 4.3 billion USD and the condition of "deposing" the current CEO, Mr. Changpeng Zhao, and is expected to be sentenced at the end of April after pleading guilty of negligence in anti-money laundering work. on the trading floor, facing a sentence of up to 18 months in prison.
