Jeremy Booth will bring the Wild West to life in his upcoming solo exhibition at Marfa International

Western pop artist Jeremy Booth will soon be taking his artwork into the desert on horseback, as the painter has just announced his upcoming solo exhibition at Marfa International, an art exhibit in the remote Chihuahuan Desert highlands of Texas.

A prominent figure in his field, Booth operates without traditional art gallery representation but is lauded by web3 art collectors for his minimalist reimaginings of classic American Western motifs, in his work you’ll notice colorful horses, cacti, and cowboys, as well as depictions of gunfight scenes and cattle roundups.

The May 2024 exhibition will mark a significant moment for the artist, who will be showcasing his physical canvas paintings after experiencing success as a digital artist.

Doodles and MNTGE collaborate on limited edition vintage denim jacket

gmoney’s 9dcc Announces Pop-up Shop Schedule During NFT NYC

9dcc, the luxury lifestyle brand owned by gmoney known for its vivid real-life experiences, launched a series of pop-up stores during NFT New York on April 3, 4 and 5.

At a launch event on the morning of April 3, a store opened to the public and announced that DEGEN tokens would be given away to the first 200 attendees, after which the brand hosted a cocktail party and fireside chat to discuss all things artificial intelligence.

Thursday’s highlights include an exclusive NFT NYC party and collaborative meetups with notable NFT brands Pudgy Penguins and Phaver, a web3 social app powered by the Lens protocol.

Friday’s show featured a midday fireside chat between Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz and Joonatan from Phaver, another opportunity to hear from Pudgy Penguins and gmoney.

All week, visitors admired custom clothing by Colombian artist Calicho in New York’s trendy SoHo neighborhood.

Nifty Island challenges players with new 'Break the Target' game mode

The web3 user-generated content (UGC) game Nifty Island has just launched a new creative competition to players with its newly released game mode “Break the Target”.

The game, which launched in open beta in January, features a week-long challenge divided into two parts: First, players must build a creative "goal-breaking" course and post a video of it on X by March 31, then they submit the post to the Nifty Island Discord, where the community votes for the best course.

Next, the competitors competed in the SPEEDRUN stage, racing to complete the track in the fastest time. They had to submit their times by April 4th, and the winners will be announced on Monday, April 8th, and will reportedly receive interesting prizes.

NFT NYC and Mona launch their first Metaverse Gallery

In its first-ever collaboration, NFT NYC this week teamed up with open metaverse-building platform Mona to launch a stunning virtual gallery highlighting the work of over 2,000 artists.

Illuvium to launch Ethereum game in Q2 2024 after $12M Series A

Illuvium Labs, creator of the popular blockchain-based sci-fi NFT game Illuvium, just got a multi-million dollar boost.

The gaming studio raised $12 million in Series A funding and will launch three Ethereum-based games in the second quarter of 2024.

The gaming world consists of Illuvium Arena, Illuvium Overworld, and Illuvium Zero - three interconnected experiences built on Ethereum and Immutable, the leading L2 gaming chain.

The Series A round was co-led by King River Capital, Arrington Capital, Animoca Brands, and The Spartan Group, with participation from other well-known web3 and gaming investors.
